i’ve comforted my mom so many times when she’s cried…god, it’s the worst feeling in the world when the person who seems to hold your universe together crumbles right in front of you.
The hardest thing for me to see was my mother sobbing her eyes out when her father died. She’s not a crier (my father is) and my heart broke into so many pieces I didn’t think they would ever go back together again. Thank God for her sisters, her faith, and Xanax.
